Marching Band Member of the Week


James Irelan

James is a freshman at Ford High School. He plays the clarinet. When asked, James said that the thing that he enjoys about being in band the most is traveling to different places to perform. 

Great job, James! 


Angel Fischer

Angel is a sophomore at Ford High School. She plays the mellophone and also participates with the FHS Choir Acapella. Angel enjoys band because, " It's freedom of expression. It's an escape. It's a real family." 

Congratulations Angel! Keep up the hard work! 

Color Guard Member of the Week


Rebecca Harman

Rebecca is a junior at Ford High School. She participates in color guard and serves as vice president for FFA. She also plays the clarinet. Becky is a dedicated and hard working student. When asked why she enjoys being in color guard she answered by saying, "I have a family here."

Good job, Becky! Mrs. Clowers is very proud of you.


Brittaney Kilgore

Brittaney is a junior at Ford High School. She is a member of the color guard, FFA, and plays the flute. One of the many reasons that Brittaney is a valued member of the guard is because she is always willing to offer support as well as a helping hand to others. She expressed her feeling of being in color guard by saying, "It makes me happy to be surrounded by people with similar interests as me. They are supportive of me and my goals."

Way to go, Brittaney! Mrs. Clowers is very proud of you! 


Kaite Hulse

Katie is a junior at Ford High School. She participates in color guard, choir, and plays the trumpet in band. Katie is kind to others, dedicated, and brings a positive attitude to class every day. When asked, Katie said that she enjoys being a part of the team because "I get to make new friends while making music and adding picture to the show." 

You are awesome, Katie! Mrs. Clowers is very proud of you. 


Hailey Birlew

Hailey is a junior at Ford High School. She is an active member of color guard, theatre, band, veterinary medicine, and fashion design. Hailey is always on a mission to improve her skills and is consistently kind to others. She enjoys color guard because she thinks that it is fun! 

Keep up the good work, Hailey! Mrs. Clowers is very proud of you! 


Maggie Emerson

Maggie is a junior at Ford High School. She is involved in color guard, fashion design, and plays the clarinet in band. Maggie is respectful, always prepared to learn, and selflessly assists others. She enjoys being in the band program because, "I love what I am doing!"

Gisel Ceballos

Gisel is a junior at Ford High School. She is an active member in color guard, soccer, student counsel, plays the trumpet in band, and is an athletic trainer. Gisel is a hard-working and dedicated individual with a fun personality. She enjoys participating in band because, "I get to learn new stuff while having fun! It also allows me time to spend with my friends."
